How to stay inspired? I know you’ll say we’ve had enough of this Gyan (knowledge). So why bother reading about the same thing again?
Simple, don’t we bathe every day just to keep ourselves clean?
Likewise, we should read something good, inspiring, productive, or spiritual every day to keep ourselves psychologically and mentally stimulated.
Hope this gives enough inspiration to continue reading. Let’s start.
We know inspiration is an essential ingredient to achieve anything in life, yet we lack the inspiration to continue working towards our goal.
Those who keep themselves inspired, it would be easy for them to achieve goals in their life.
That’s why every great mind and every talented person makes it a routine to keep him/her inspired regularly.
Reading and watching positive materials helps to keep the negative mindset out.
Staying inspired is the secret to success. It’s not a complete formula but most part of success rests on the shoulder of inspiration.
It does not matter what goals we set or how big our dreams are.
If we cannot find the right inspiration to take massive and consistent action, success will always be miles away.
- How to stay inspired – 10 proven ways
How to stay inspired – 10 proven ways
1. Define A Definite Goal
Everyone wants to achieve goals in their life but don’t know how to get there.
This is because we do not set a definite goal for us, so most of us fail badly.
Without a definite purpose we waste our energy and time doing unproductive tasks that steer us off the course.
But when we have a definite goal, it pushes us to do action and fill great energy within us.
Set your mind on a definite goal and plan your actions accordingly to get there.
If we put all our mental and physical energy to achieve our goal, we’ll achieve it for sure.
2. Plan Your Day
Plan your day, or the day will plan you. The former is better.
Every successful person plans their whole day for the best outcome.
Planning your day is the most important task to do every day. The best time is soon after you wake up.
Pick up a pen, diary, and write down what all things you have on your mind that should be done today.
Take 5-10 minutes each morning or (the night before) to design your whole day activity. Doable? Definitely.
We all have the same amount of time (24 hours) every day, but the one who uses it effectively achieves success in life.
If we plan our day, we can effectively utilize the hours that we have available during the day.
Don’t panic if you have a long to-do-things list.
It’s not important how long the list is, the most important thing is to have a plan on how to manage it.
3. Train Your Mind To Think About Solution Not Problem
Focus on the problem, you’ll get problems. Focus on the solution, you’ll get solutions – Anonymous.
This is a proven fact, yet we hold on to problems in our life and whine about it.
Everyone approaches a problem differently and this is important for how to stay inspired.
Some people focus on the reason for a problem and that’s called Problem Focused Thinking.
Others prefer to think about possible solutions that help them to solve a problem and that’s called Solution Focused Thinking.
Solution-focused minds always win in every aspect of their life.
Obstacles are inevitable in our way to success. But if we focus on these problems we would never overcome them.
Focus on solutions and we can find many possible ways to solve them.
4. Visualize Yourself As Successful
Visualization is powerful.
All the biggest discoveries and inventions began with a visualization.
Had it not been for the visualization of flying like birds, Oliver brothers would never have invented planes.
Likewise had it not been for the visualization of light during nights, Edison would never have invented the bulb.
The way we see and feel things produces the desired result.
We all have the potential to be successful. All we require is to connect with the potential of visualization in the mind .
Napolean Hill an expert in psychology of success once said that, ” whatever the mind can conceive and believe the mind can achieve”.
5. Don’t Focus On What You Cannot Control
If we think about a problem that is beyond your control, we just end up wasting time and energy.
Intelligent people always focus on things that they can control.
Knowing the difference between the things we can control and the things we can’t is of prime importance.
We can control our input, but we can’t control the output.
For example, I can control how much time and effort I put into preparing for any examination (Input), but I can’t control what would be the final result (Output).
Another example would be, I can control my behavior for others for a better relationship but how they treat me is beyond my control.
In all these situations, we can influence the outcome but we can’t control it.
So, we must isolate the things we cannot control and concentrate on tasks we can control.
6. Stay Around Positive People
Show me your friends, and I’ll tell who you are, said Vladimir Lenin.
Our circle and our friends, whom we spend most of our time with, play a vital role in deciding our future.
Always stay connected with optimistic and responsible people.
We should spend our whole day with people who have a definite goal for their life and have a positive perspective about everything.
If you’re surrounded by negative people and decide to change the company of people, you can dramatically increase your chances of success and happiness.
People who have a positive attitude always think about the solution of every problem but negative minded people always focus on the problem. So, choose your friends wisely.
7. Exercise And Stay Fit
Yes, I agree. Somehow staying fit, exercise or yoga pops up in all my articles. But I guess, without a fit body, you’re nothing.
Our happiness, success, and wealth are directly proportional to our health.
If we do exercises, yoga, take proper diet, it’ll boost the energy within. Consequently, we’ll become happier and will stay inspired.
Exercising an hour 4-5 times a week has many health benefits associated with body and mind.
It regulates our blood circulation, keeps us energized for the whole day and boosts our immune system.
Over the past several years yoga has been absorbed by many western countries, medical professionals, and celebrities. We can perform Yoga as well. Just do any physical activity for an hour in a day.
8. Don’t MultiTask
You may think you are getting more performing multiple tasks at the same time but you are probably wrong.
As technology advances, we try to work more than we have ever done before.
Multitasking has become a habit for people. But research shows that multitasking is not as helpful as we consider.
Multitasking is working against you. It makes you less effective and can slow down your brain.
It also decreases our productivity. But if we concentrate our whole mind at only one task then we will be more efficient.
9. Time Management
Time management is a vital factor to stay inspired and become successful in our life.
If we are not managing time smartly, there is no way we are going to reach our goal at work and the life outside .
The truth is that we all have same amount of time in a day.
No matter who you are, your gender, income, religion, colour you have the same amount of time as the next person.
But success knocks the door of the person who uses time smartly and effectively.
Manage your time and you’ll stay inspired all the time.
10. Read Inspirational Articles:
Last, yet an important step you can take everyday to stay motivated.
As I always recommend to read daily atleast for 30 minutes, you can read inspirational articles.
Watching inspirational movies is also a best way to stay inspired.
This would do two things; first, you’ll stay motivated, of course.
And secondly, you’ll be habituated to read everyday which is the best gift you can give to your mind.
You can always read our Articles. We’ll be glad to see you getting inspired.
Thanks for reading. Always good to see you again!
